[OC] I took a photo of last night’s 98% illuminated Moon using a standard DSLR and telephoto lens. This image shows mineral deposits which would have otherwise been invisible to the naked eye - the blue areas are abundant in titanium, whereas the orange areas are rich in iron. via /r/spaceporn https://ift.tt/3fu41sF
